ThisMagic of Making video takes us to an English farm to see how ice cream gets from Guernsey cows to the shops. Fat, sugar, fruit and ice all come together to make delicious ice cream. First, the farmer must fatten up his cows with silage, pop their udders into his suction device, and pasteurise the milk to make it safe. Procedure Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup whipping cream, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla to the quart zipper bag. Seal the bag securely. Put 2 cups of ice into the gallon plastic bag. Use a thermometer to measure and record the temperature of the ice in the gallon bag. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup salt (sodium chloride) to the bag of ice. Forthe ice cream layer. Take the ice cream out of the freezer 30 minutes before you need to use it to allow it to soften. Cover the inside of an 8" cake pan in aluminum foil. Spread the softened ice cream into the cake pan evenly and smooth out the top. Place it back into the freezer overnight or a minimum of 6 hours. Ina bowl, add the all-purpose cream or whipping cream. Beat until the cream doubles its size. Add the condensed milk and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix well until blended. Add your desired toppings. Fold the mixture. Transfer the mixture in a container and freeze for at least 6 hours. Thebasic path to ice cream involves cooking a stirred custard, flavoring it, and churning it. You can break the steps down as follows: Separate egg yolks. Whisk egg yolks and sugar together until completely combined. Whisk in your dairy until completely combined. Cook your base on medium heat until it forms a custard. Whiskthe ingredients together, until the sugar and cocoa dissolves. Then, pour the chocolate ice cream base into your ice cream maker.
